While I love action movies and romantic comedies, I'm a colossal fan of inspiring movies. You know the ones I'm talking about. They motivate and uplift you, and after watching, you feel like you could take on the world. I got to watch one of these a few nights ago.
Apple Mortgage Cake starring Kimberly Elise is based upon a true story about a woman who didn't know how she was going to pay her mortgage. The entire time she's struggling, she kept up with her volunteer duties, walked when her car broke down, and just kept going and then when the idea came about to sell her apple cakes, she got busy. And it worked. Now, Angela Logan runs a business making her cakes, and her story is a motivational journey! And as the credits rolled, I had such a sense of amazement. Those are the kinds of movies I love and why I'm grateful today for movies that inspire me.
