  • I had originally intended to indie publish several books this year, but, instead, I have decided to go the traditional route and submit my novels to publishers. Indie publishing takes a lot of time and energy, and I'm impressed with the authors who can keep it up on a regular basis. I'm just choosing not to be one of them any longer...at least not for full-length novels.
  • I just finished a short non-fiction book that is a resource for families struggling financially. It's called The Struggle is Real and is now available for free online!
  • I finalled in WOW-Women on Writing's Summer Flash Fiction Contest!
  • Letters to Laura is now available in paperback!
  • I've set up my newsletter again! Get ready for some giveaways, fun, trivia, free reads, interviews, and more! Subscribe here!
  • A short historical fiction story I wrote received an Honorable Mention in Globe Soup's Historical Fiction contest!
  • The first chapter of Dead Woman Wanting placed 5th in the I Am Writing Romance Competition! This was the first full-length novel I'd written since 2018 so this win is beyond thrilling!

I'm a big proponent of helping people, and that's why there's an ad to the right. I spent many years as a paralegal, mostly working for an attorney who practices in consumer law which includes automobile fraud and lemon law claims. So many families were sold cars that they didn't know were wrecked or cars that had a salvage title, and they felt like there was nothing they could do. And it's still happening.

There is an attorney, C. Steven Moskos,  in the Charleston area, where I live, who takes on these cases and can help people who feel like they've been wronged. If you're in a tough spot, give him a call. (843) 763-5297, or you can check out his website at www.moskoslawfirm.com.  This is the only ad I have on my website, but I feel it's for a good cause. Having a safe car is a necessity. Not only are you protecting your loved ones, but you're protecting others on the roads!
