• I am a dedicated Star Trek fan with the Original Series being my all-time favorite and Star Trek: Voyager coming in at a really close second.
• I love to fly and to travel by train.
• I love to travel, whether it's thirty minutes away or twelve hours away.
• I have never had a dinner and dancing date. (Yeah, I know; it’s sad.)
• I'm barely five feet tall, but numerous people have told me I'm intimidating. (I think my mouth has a lot to do with that!)
• I haven’t met my soulmate. I've been engaged twice, but common sense pulled me back from the edge. 
• I don't have children, but I do have have a cat. Her name is Temperance, and she is like my child. 
• My friends are my family which is great because I have a HUGE extended family. 
• I never went to any of my proms. (What can I say? I was working!)
• I got my first job at the age of 14, and that was painting school buses during the summer.
• I was in a serious car accident in 2003 that left me with a lifelong disability.
• My favorite movie of all time is Shining Through with Michael Douglas and Melanie Griffith.
• I spent two of my teenage years living in a barn that was supposed to have been renovated into a house. (It wasn't finished.)
• I have lived through a tornado, and for a long time, I was terrified of them because of that.
• I have been through several tropical storms and hurricanes because I live on the East Coast, and surprisingly, those have never scared me.
• I am afraid of my head going under water which is one reason I don't swim, and I live near the beach!
• I have been known to talk on the phone for three hours at a time with friends that live relatively close.
• I sat in the courtroom during a murder trial.
• I love custom made shelving and have had it installed in four rooms of my house so far.
• I’m a big fan of costume jewelry and own enough to fill two jewelry armoires.
• I’ve refinished old furniture several times. 
• I love creating graphics for social media and will usually do this several times a week. 
• I write every night, regardless of where I am. I've even written when I was in the hospital. 
• My least favorite household chore is doing laundry, and I have enough clothes and linens to go at least three weeks without washing one load.
• I live close to the beach, but I rarely go because I burn so easily in the sun.
• I live just outside historical Charleston, South Carolina, and I love playing tourist in my city! I couldn't ever see myself living anywhere else. 
• I’m a self-taught computer tech.
• I have learned how to use many, many software programs because I can't stand not knowing how to use something I might need, i.e., Paintshop Pro, Adobe, and more. 
• Oftentimes, I will watch some of my favorite episodes of my favorite TV series over and over, especially shows like Doc, Little House on the Prairie, most Star Trek series, Bones, Chuck, Arrow, Alias, Charmed, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, ER, NYPD Blue, and Mike and Molly.
• I have a HUGE fangirl crush on Billy Ray Cyrus. I love practically all of his songs and adored him on the series, DOC, which aired over twenty years ago. I listen to at least one of his songs almost every night, and there aren't too many that I don't like. I would love to meet him in person (don't we all say that about your crushes?) I just wonder if I could do it without hyperventilating. 
• I love 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s television like Barney Miller, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Cagney and Lacey, and Walker, Texas Ranger. 
• I have a LARGE stash of notebooks and journals because every time I see one on sale, I can't resist buying it. I do use them, though.
• I also seriously adore Zachary Levi who was the star of Chuck (one of my all-time favorite shows). His personality just leaps off the screen and makes me want to watch more.
• If it’s a paranormal or fantasy television show, I’ve watched at least one episode, possibly two, to determine whether it's going to be a show I'll continue to watch. 
• I've met several celebrities, and I'm happy to say I haven't been disappointed yet.
• I have gone jet-skiing, canoeing, boating, sky-riding (in a small plexiglass cabin on a wire over Madrid), sledding, horseback riding, and many more activities I wish I could still do! (I can't because of the disability I mentioned above.)
• I don't have any tattoos nor do I plan to get any.
• I don't drink alcohol nor do I smoke.
• I don't like music concerts as I find them too loud, and I'm rarely able to understand what the singers are singing!
• I don't like classical music...at all. And I've tried.
• I don't like bluegrass music. Heard it once and that was all it took.
• I take a lot of online classes because I love learning.
• I love listening to contemporary Christian music and old-time gospel. I love Casting Crowns and Mercy Me especially.
• Outside the USA I've been to Mexico, the Grand Cayman Islands, Aruba, Curaçao, and Spain, and there are so many more places I want to see! 
• I take a lot of pictures, mostly scenic, with my cell phone. Fortunately, it takes good pictures. 
• I don't usually like watching sports, but I will watch ice skating, hockey, dressage, and sitting volleyball.
• I hate old TV western movies (even the music bothers me) but love programs like Big Valley and Bonanza.
• The Sound of Music and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers are tied for my two favorite musicals. 
• I want to visit every state in the United States. (I’m currently up to twenty-five.)

• I love reading young adult fantasy and paranormal books, especially series like Sarra Cannon's Shadow Demons, Christine Feehan's Dark Series, and Mary Janice Davidson's Undead Series. 
• I also adore historical fiction books. They don't have to be romances, either.
  
• I also enjoy memoirs and autobiographies a lot. I usually read several of these a year.

• Before I had to leave my job, I was a paralegal for close to twenty-five years so I sometimes laugh at the legal mistakes on courtroom and crime shows as well as the timeline that seems to go at lightning fast speeds. I especially get a chuckle when a lawyer yells at the judge, and nothing happens. In reality, heads would roll, possibly the lawyer's after the judge twisted it off.
• I only wear t-shirts in my house and or elsewhere when I'm not planning on going anywhere like a hotel or a friend's house. I never wear them outside my house.
• Target is my favorite store with Belk and bookstores tied for close second.
• I can't go into a bookstore without buying something. 
• I never leave my house without make-up. (Unless I’m heading for surgery, or I'm in the back of an ambulance.)
• I’m very outspoken, and yes, that has gotten me in trouble a time or two. 
• I love to make people laugh, and I seem to have the knack.
• I’ve never been afraid to walk into a room full of strangers by myself.
• I’m not scared of spiders, snakes, or bugs (although there are plenty I'd rather not be around), and I’ve held a tarantula, a rattlesnake (and other types of snakes), and several types of lizards.
• I will go to restaurants, movies, and foreign countries by myself. 
• I have lived in Charleston, SC most of my life, but I still haven't seen every historic site or been to every restaurant. But those are on my bucket list. 
• I really do have a bucket list. 
• I used to sing in my church choir, and I still love to sing, mostly out loud at home or in my car.
• My favorite perfume is Armani Code, but Daisy by Marc Jacobs runs a close second. 
• I never wear all white because I don't want to look like the Michelin Man. I don't even own a pair of white pants or capris or a white skirt.
• I'm addicted to skorts in the summertime.​
