I remember hating naps when I was a kid. I thought I would miss something if I had to go to sleep, but today, all of that has changed. When my body is exhausted and I feel like I'm going to collapse, a nap is the perfect cure. No matter how short, a nap gives me that extra dose of energy to finish the day. It's a time to shut out the world and quieten my mind. And they can help improve mood, alertness, and performance, according to the National Sleep Foundation! That's why, today, I'm grateful for naps.
